• Start of Ladies Local Races

Ladies Local Races kicked off on Wednesday 7th May with four crews racing a straight race from Porth to the Harbour.  What an outstanding start to the season ladies!  Anyone who wishes to row in the race on Wednesday should contact one of the ladies rowing committee by Tuesday evening, as crews are now picked in advance.

• Visit by Gravesend Rowing Club 

The gravesend rowing club from Kent will be visiting Newquay on the weekend of 27th/28th September for a weekend of racing and socialising.  Gravesend normally row skiffs with 4 men crews in the tidal thames.

• Tuesday Rowing

With immediate effect, there is to be no rowing other than Novice Training on a Tuesday night until after novices has finished.  This is due to the unprecedented number of novices we have this year and subsequent demands on gigs.

• New Gig Campaign

We are starting a campaign to raise money towards a new gig.  There will be a separate page on this website dedicated to this shortly.  Please get your thinking caps on and if you would like to be involved in the fund raising effort, speak to Lucy Emmett or Phil Morris.
